The Broward Training Collaborative is powered by the CSC and offers quality and affordable training workshops for professionals serving children and families in Broward County. Each session is led by instructors that are highly qualified and experienced in their field to provide an optimal learning environment. CEUs are also offered for many of the completed courses.

How CSC Funds
Funding from the CSC is most typically offered through our RFP Process. A county-wide assessment determines the communities needs in children's services. Then the council establishes the annual goals and budget based on the assessment and public hearings, which prompt requests for proposals to identify providers able to meet the local service needs.

Emergency Funding Requests

The intent of a the Emergency Procurement Exemption is to provide a Safety Net for CSC-funded agencies, where possible, when crisis situations arise that clearly jeopardize services to clients served in currently-funded CSC programs.

Sponsorships

The Children’s Services Council supports a wide range of charitable groups. Sponsorship is one of the support tools available to CSC. Sponsorships dollars are limited and denial of any request shall in no way be construed as a reflection on the project submitted or the agency involved.

The Faces of CSC

The greatest tool you can give a child is the ability to persuade and speak with confidence. Being that my YIG experience positively impacted my emotional literacy skills, I would like to pass these on to those who are less fortunate.
