Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2018 Back To School Extravaganza a huge success!

Help all students and teachers get what they need to have a successful school year! Your $35 donation outfits a child in need with uniform, shoes, backpack and supplies. The events are on July 28th and August 4th, so please contribute soon!

Kinship Initiatives for Supportive Services | Kids In Distress

Intensive, in-home interventions provided for an average of 10 face-to-face hours per week using the best practice model HOMEBUILDERS® Program. The families referred to this program must be referred by BSO CPIS and must be families at high risk of having their children removed from their home. Prior to making the referral, the BSO CPIS Supervisor and Service Provider Specialist must be consulted. Referrals cannot be faxed.
Kinship Initiatives for Supportive Services | Legal Aid of Broward County

County-wide services for legal advocacy and support services to families providing kinship care for children and youth. Referrals are limited to CSC Kinship providers.

Kinship Initiatives for Supportive Services | Memorial Healthcare System

County-wide support services for kinship families with children ages 0-18, and for children and youth with special needs ages 0-22. Groups are offered in Fort Lauderdale (KID) and Hollywood (Memorial).

LAW-Line | Legal Aid of Broward County

The LAW-line serves as a legal helpline for youth and families who have questions or concerns related to youth’s involvement with the delinquency and/or dependency systems. The helpline is supported by a qualified attorney who identifies the legal issues brought forward and the potential legal consequences for the different options available. Conversations with the attorney are protected under the recognized attorney-client privilege. LAW-line is maintained by Legal Aid of Broward County.
LEAP High Programs | Blanche Ely High School

21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC), LEAP, and Best Opportunity to Shine & Succeed (BOSS) High programs are offered at eleven (11) Broward County Public high schools. Services include structured academic support, credit recovery, end-of-course exam and ACT/SAT Preparation, adult and family services, personal enrichment activities to improve school engagement and attendance, and career readiness.

LEAP High Programs | Choose Peace Stop Violence

The Choose Peace/Stop Violence initiative teaches violence prevention strategies, which are both school and community-based, and continues to educate and empower youth and families to expose bullying, affirm differences, and make healthier, drug free choices.
